Welcome to Cadman Christmas - High Point, NC
The dream of having an animated light show started in the mid 1990s. Right after getting married, we bought one of those multi-colored light strands that had 8 functions [blink, fade, rotate...] and we used the lights to decorate our 4 foot Christmas tree. In 1997, we designed and built our first dimmable controller, hooked it up to our home computer and used it to control the lights on our 7 foot Christmas tree.
About 10 years later [2008] we decided to take the show outside. Thanks to some significant advancements in technology, we were able to share our first light show, choreographed to music, with our neighbors and friends . A lot has changed, but the light show is still controlled by a home computer.
Just about every night, during the month of December, we will see a car or two parked out in front of our house watching the lights move to the music [playing through the car's stereo.]
We are often told that the show looks better in person, but if you can't make it, we have some videos for you to see. If you get the chance, drop us a note in our guestbook. We really enjoy your messages, so leave as many as you want.
